I am a self-tought artist who strikes to capture the beauty of subjects I'm working on and convey that feeling through my art.
I am a biologist by background and have always been fascinated by nature. My works are inspired by its vibrant colours, harmony of light and vast number of forms. I love to work on subjects of nature including animals, birds, plants as well as landscapes and seascapes. I am inspired by works of great masters of realism such as Ivan Shishkin and Ivan Aivazovsky.
I paint predominantly in watercolour, gouache and acrylics. |
