ARTIST BIO

Hi.....Thanks for spending time to view my profile.
This is Sudha, Self Taught Artist. I love Nature, Science and Art.
I have completed Masters in Clinical Biochemistry. After coming to Melbourne, I decided to go after my passion. Painting is everything for me. Since my childhood, I just love to paint whether its good or bad. My Mom, She is the only reason for my painting skills. I love to do pencil portraits, painting still life, landscape, seascape and things which I admire.
Now I have started painting birds with more details. Painting those eyes, beaks, feathers and wings, It helps with my mood swings. I could feel complete satisfaction and happiness whenever I finish my bird paintings.
As an Artist, I could realize my self confidence and helps to calm down my mind. It helps to express my thoughts, emotions, personal experience and interest.
For me, Painting is an endless search and ongoing learning process. I don't want to be restricted by single idea. So I have started exploring with different mediums, techniques and ideas. Nature is my best Inspiration.
I use professional quality Acrylic paints for painting birds. It dries very quickly so that it's easy to make lots of detailed layers over and over to get a feathery look. I feel like doing meditation when I paint repeated details in the feathers. Really it helps me to focus on things where I want to go. I'm learning lots of things from painting birds in my personal life as well.
